Lots of good points. However, one thing Tumblr lacks is original content - posts are reblogged over and over (guilty here!) and spread across a whole slew of mini tumblr networks. Some may argue that Twitter is the same, but it seems like a larger percentage of Twitter users post original (albeit not necessarily high-value) thoughts and blurbs.
